Elected to her first term in 2013, Erin Mendenhall took the oath of office as the Council Member representing District Five on January 6, 2014. She was re-elected to a second term in 2017 and selected by her peers on the City Council to serve as the 2018 City Council Chair.
In her capacity on the City Council, Erin has advocated for environmental initiatives from renewable energy expansion and electric vehicle infrastructure, to watershed protections and carbon fee dividends. Improving local solutions to homelessness and human trafficking, geographic equity in affordable housing, neighborhood quality of life and State Street improvements are all passions of Erin’s.
